No. Play Chord is for writing and carrying your own chord sheets. Use it with chord sheets from songbooks or your notebook, or with songs of your own.
No. Your notes and recordings are saved only on your device, and in your iCloud if iCloud Drive is on. They are never sent to anyone, including the developer of Play Chord.

Yes. They move along with your other apps when you switch phones the usual way (Quick Start or restoring from a backup on iPhone, or transferring your data on Android). On iPhone, if iCloud Drive is on, your notes are also kept in iCloud. If your notes didn’t move on Android, copy the “Documents/PlayChord” folder from your old phone to the new one, and choose that folder in the app’s settings.
Yes. Each note is a text file (Markdown), so you can open the “Play Chord” folder in iCloud Drive (iPhone) or the “Documents/PlayChord” folder on your device (Android) from your computer and write there. Your changes are picked up the next time you open the app (on iPhone when iCloud Drive is on, and on Android 11 or later).
